August Community Class | Raising Confident Eaters

Tuesday, August 5 at 12:00PM CT | 45 mins

Your kid parrots “sugar is bad” at dinner while refusing anything but mac and cheese. Meanwhile, Grandma has thoughts about portion sizes. Sound familiar?

Feeding kids isn’t just about getting food on the table. It is navigating picky eating, school lunch rules, soccer practice schedules, unsolicited family commentary, and the constant worry about raising kids who don't inherit the diet culture you have worked so hard to unlearn.

Join us for this 45-minute live virtual class led by pediatric dietitian Laurie Bell, who knows exactly what it’s like to help families ditch the food fights and raise confident, competent eaters.

This class is for parents and caregivers who want to foster a healthy, confident relationship with food at home. You want practical, sustainable strategies for feeding growing, busy bodies while ditching the guilt, power struggles, and fear-based nutrition talk.

If you're looking for a meal plan that limits "bad" foods, prescribes strict rules, or enforces diet talk at the table, this class is not for you.

What You'll Get Out of this Class:

  • Tools to talk about food without moralizing it.

  • Strategies for making meals and snacks that actually get eaten.

  • Guidance for fueling active, growing kids with balance and compassion.

  • Tips for responding to food talk from school, friends, and family without panic.

  • A judgment-free space to ask questions and share challenges with a pediatric dietitian

You have worked hard to heal your own relationship with food. Let’s help you pass on that freedom to your kids!
